Ingredients:
Steaks:
• 60 ml (¼ cup) Maggi Lazenby Worcestershire Sauce
• 60 ml (¼ cup) olive oil
• 6 cloves garlic, crushed
• 2 chopped chillies or a pinch of peri-peri spice
• 11 sirloin steaks, 1.5 cm thick
Onion Marmalade:
• 2 onion
• 30 ml (2 tablespoons) oil
• 100 ml Maggi Chilli Garlic Sauce
To Serve:
• 11 Portuguese rolls
• Rocket (optional)
Method:
Steaks:
- Mix the Worcestershire sauce, oil, garlic and chillies (or spice) and marinate the steaks in the mixture for a few hours or overnight.
Onion Marmalade:
- Sauté the onions in the oil until soft and slightly caramelized.
- Add the chilli garlic sauce and simmer until fragrant.
To Serve:
- Pan-fry the steaks to the desired degree of doneness. Halve the rolls horizontally and top with rocket leaves (if using), the steak and a little of the onion marmalade.
